This piece is from a sketchbook by Mary Twopenny that captures her various trips around Derbyshire. It is a pencil drawing of the view of Monsal Dale (without the Headstone viaduct) with a travelling family struggling up the hill heavily laden with a donkey and small children. It is dated 12th June 1828.

Water Wheel at Litton Mill

This piece is from a sketchbook by Mary Twopenny that captures her various trips around Derbyshire. It is a pencil and colour wash drawing of the remains of the water wheel (intact) at Litton Mill with a man to scale, and the ruins of the mill destroyed in a fire in 1811 in which it was seriously damaged. It is dated 12th June 1828.

This piece is from a sketchbook by Mary Twopenny that captures her various trips around Derbyshire. It is a pencil and colour wash drawing of the ruins (or the demolition process) of the apprentice house of Litton Mill after it was purchased by Taddington Parish in 1822. It is dated 12th June 1828.
